Looking at Towing Mirrors that don't damage the vehicle's body.

Have been checking out the "Clearview" range of towing mirrors which are designed to replace the existing mirrors with minor mechanical knowledge and work off the vehicle's current electrical loom. I have looked at this system on other 4 X 4's and am relatively pleased at the ease of fitting. Price - hmm! At $795.00 per pair (self installed) or and extra $110.00 (installation by ARB) I consider the price somewhat over the top but the alternatives are clumsy and near useless!

We have decided to go with the "Clearview" option and will report back on the outcome!

Well, surprise - surprise! Now have checked out another site which I stumbled upon. Adventure Towing - Craigieburn Victoria, They supply similar to Clearview but $200 cheaper and free delivery. One choice only as no Chrome and indicators whether you need them or not. For me a perfect combination and delivered to my door in two working days - sorry Clearview, time to be more competitive. Installing tomorrow, appears simple enough!

OK, have installed the new mirrors, very easy, took about 15 minutes all up! Indicators work fine but the electric adjustment not working at all. Going through the process with the supplier to try to sort out!
