GPS Could Save Our Skins

Well moving right along but maybe not as quick as we would like!

We have progressed by fitting a constant camera to the rear of the "Taj Mahal" of caravans. Brilliant - gives a wonderful clear view and enables vision over the top of conventional cars. Best safety feature yet. Couple this with walkie talkies and towing mirrors and we have great combination of safety and vision to aid our insecurities.

Next great idea generated by Deb's fear of taking a 4 meter high van under low bridges - a GPS suited to trucks, yes they do exist and Garmin have a bute! The "Garmin Dezl 570". Enter the combined dimensions of the Colorado and the 5th Wheeler (Length X Width X Height X Gross Weight and the GPS steers you away from low bridges, narrow roads and any obstacle that would impede our travels. Whoopi!!! A word of warning though, setting up the lifetime maps takes a minor science degree or a helpful sales person when purchasing the unit.
