More Delays!

Three major things requiring attention: Awning (originally fitted with a Dometic Brand) is badly tearing and de-laminating! UV in Australia seems to be much harsher than the USA. Outcome - have an Aussie product fitted to replace the existing. Cost is about 25% more but appears more economical in the long run. To be fitted next Friday! Air conditioning - more American crap - compressor over heating and tripping the circuit breaker - not doing it's job and is not serviceable. Question: Do we replace the compressor or the whole System? Problem: our system is duct ed and we are finding it difficult to find a replacement that will fit the existing setup. Does any one in QLD know what they are talking about????? Not sure - still trying to get some answers! Tool box: controversial as everybody has a differing opinion on what we can attach and carry F_ _ K It! will have to make our own judgement! All of these things impeding our departure!!!!

Further to this post, the company who inspected the air con and could not test it charged $135 for 30 minutes maximum, told me that they would supply a quote and that replacement of the air con may be an option (an option they could not help me with as they were not qualified for this task). After no reply for over a week, I contacted them only to be given the brush off with them suggesting that the unit should be replaced and gave no interest in supplying the quote I had paid for. For Anyone considering using Air Supply be warned that they are just another rip off Gold Coast Company which I highly recommend you avoid!
