Maryborough and surrounding places of Interest!

Yesterday we arrived at Maryborough and pulled into the "Cheery Nomad RV Park and Farm Stay". What a pleasant surprise to be greeted by Mario, the owner, with a beaming smile and pleasant manor to boot! This park is very well maintained and makes a great central place to park up and explore the surrounding areas. Mario and his lovely wife Debbie invited us to play a few rounds of pool with them before we settled down to a good nights sleep under a million stars!

Today we left the van behind and and went for a drive to Hervey Bay - to say it is a very busy place is an understatement. Spectacular and pristine beaches and a very beautiful foreshore make it a great place to visit!
