A picturesque town with a railway station that dates back to the 1800's - a considerable amount of time, is beautifully maintained and still in use. Large windmills still operate all around and the "Tree of Knowledge" a ghost gum planted as a symbolic representation of the Australian Labour Party has pride of place surrounded by a timber shelter and huge timber wind chimes hanging from it's roof. This tree was poisoned in 2006 in protest to the government by unknown persons. What stands today is a bare trunk and branches.
