Gawler in the heart of the South Australian Wine region is our location for the coming days and our destination whilst here is Yalumba Winery. Pristine gardens surround the spectacular buildings from a bygone era making this winery a great place to relax in the sunshine with a food platter and a glass of wine to complement. Notice the large chimney appears to be leaning - this is NOT an illusion.

Yalumba one of a few working cooperages in the entire world and still produce hand made wine barrels from american oak. They invite customers to view their craft which was well worth a look!
