Back into Victoria, still following the Murray River with only a short stay as we have need to return to Brisbane shortly. Paddle Steamer "The Melbourne" was our choice of exploration spending 2 hours weaving our way along the river and changing levels through Lock 11 on 2 occasions. A remarkable piece of engineering which was fascinating to watch. Although the Murray is the border to New South Wales, the moment you leave the Victorian river bank you are in N.S.W.
